My name is Armand van Houten a Swiss and Dutch citizen.

I started my financial career in 1999 and since have covered different  C-level executive management functions within the Asset Management and Banking industry.

​

I am a finance expert with hands-on experience covering COO, CRO and executive management functions at a $100 billion international Asset Management division of a Swiss bank and a $5 billion Fund Management Company.

​

Broad experience acquired through a wide range of management and analytical roles across the financial industry; Risk Management and Operational Due Diligence, investment research (hedge funds, PE, infrastructure and Crypto funds), fund structuring, set up and liquidation, fund administration, custody, middle office & operations, liquidation of impaired and distressed assets.

​

I serve as an Independent Director of Companies.

Extensive understanding of the main Fund jurisdictions and structuring of dedicated solutions providing proactive control, oversight frameworks and structuring advice.

Current mandates are in Switzerland, Malta and Ireland (approved by the Central Bank of Ireland).

I speak English, German, Dutch and am proficient in Portuguese.
